Apparently J does not care very much for bananas. Here he is testing them out for the first time. He's also nearly as expressive as his sister when he wants us to know that really, he'd rather not.

I can't believe he's started solid foods already - time flies! What a cutie too :)
He marches to the beat of a different... Nah, I can't finish the cliché. Let's say "orthodontist" instead. What I meant was rejecting banana is almost unheard of. Perhaps at two he will imperiously sweep the jar of Horrible Looking Squeezy Yellow Stuff from the table and demand escalope à la Zagreb and go on to be restaurant critic of The New York Times
He may well! His sister already likes squid and escargot better than chicken. In this case though, I think he found the contrast between bananas and milk too mighty. So far he's taken better (and less dramatically) to apples and carrots.
If I'm not working or hanging out with our 10 year old while a bouncy 5 year old dances around us, there's a good chance I'll be hammering away on our piano, reading a book or trying to sketch. I live in Prague, Czech Republic and hail from the U.S. South.

It really is amazing how fast a second baby grows up!

Someday J may be like my husband...hates bananas, loves banana bread.
Strange.
