Home from trick-or-treating with a bag full of candy, the jack o' lantern lit and hot chocolate on the way - all's right with the world, at least for a five year old!

Oh, it is a fun time for five-year-olds! I'm very curious if Halloween is celebrated there? Is it an old custom, or an adoption of the US one?
How did you manage to trick-or-treat in Prague? Do you have neighbors who have adopted the holiday? (I'm not getting any trick-or-treaters due to being in an apartment complex; just wondering how to medicate Orion and wrap up the dissertation YET AGAIN.)
If I'm not working or hanging out with our 10 year old while a bouncy 5 year old dances around us, there's a good chance I'll be hammering away on our piano, reading a book or trying to sketch. I live in Prague, Czech Republic and hail from the U.S. South.

Hooray! I'm rather enjoying virtual Halloween...
Yeah for a successful Trick or Treat! And a great jack-o-lantern too!
Sugar, and open flame, childhood bliss.

We trick or treat in one neighborhood, it is quite fun. Story today!
Looking forward to the trick-or-treat story...having a wonderful time in the meantime imagining C's costume.
