The weather's doing flip flops this week. I've taken to carrying my camera in my laptop bag to try to catch the show - it's most entertaining.

Winter sunlight is great. It wasn't a big deal in Tennessee since we have clouds and sun in pretty equal measure throughout the year but I have learned to appreciate the few sunbreaks after living in the Pacific Northwest for the past few years.
But you can make all kinds of interesting pictures even when the sun is behind the clouds, too, you know. :)
I'm working on my cloudy pictures, especially adding dimension to them, which is what I miss.
But the reason I really appreciate the sun in February is because I'm just recovering from the light deprivation of December and January. We have finally reached the time of light after 5, and I am so happy about that!
If I'm not working or hanging out with our 10 year old while a bouncy 5 year old dances around us, there's a good chance I'll be hammering away on our piano, reading a book or trying to sketch. I live in Prague, Czech Republic and hail from the U.S. South.
