The chef's away

 
Work, which heaps itself upon my head come Christmas season, has done its job and I am buried under snow drifts far from home most days. Here's a picture of James this weekend though, already getting into the dress up game with Caroline.

He's growing up fast. It's funny that things get busier for you with Christmas. Around here, everyone is frantic to get things finished before Thanksgiving because they know that everyone starts vacations in December. Things are essentially shut down by the 15th of December. It's always a quiet time in the office and you can get a lot done--as long as you don't need to interact with other people to do it.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments, it is nice change in my email to see messages from friends! All I can say is I'm glad it is nearly the weekend, and I am doubly glad that I am not working it. Pshew. Nights working until midnight for weeks on end start to take their toll...
First dusting of snow happened today Ee, more expected!
