This week Caroline seems to be exploding into conversation. Don't get me wrong, she still has not put together a sentence, or a phrase, or a fragment of any sort involving more than one word. But she uses those single words so much more deftly than before that you could almost swear you've been chatting with her. Tonight for instance, we discussed my tea and its merits, or rather Caroline came over, sat in my lap, looked into my mug and proceeded to figure out that no I was not drinking water, it was tea and it was hot, that pleasurable hot, in fact, that she likes to carefully experience by putting her hand ever so gently on the side of the mug to feel. And in truth, all she said was "oy?" "Ahhh" "hot!" "Tea!" (hand on mug) "hohht".
If I'm not working or hanging out with our 10 year old while a bouncy 5 year old dances around us, there's a good chance I'll be hammering away on our piano, reading a book or trying to sketch. I live in Prague, Czech Republic and hail from the U.S. South.
